Homeschool Materials

All you need to homeschool is a library card….okay, a library card, notebooks, pens, pencils, glue stick, manilla folders for lapbooks, 10,000 crayons, colored pencils, markers… The list can go on and on.

But beyond that list is how do you keep all of that organized in your home?

Andrea Hall discovered that giving each child a plastic cubby worked wonders.

You will want the ones that can hold a full-sized notebook in it.

All of the materials her kids need for school fit in there.

Here is her family’s homeschool supply list:

  • 5 subject notebook
  • 1 writing journal (marble notebook)
  • 2 pencils (with child’s name on them)
  • 1 pack of colored pencils
  • 1 pack of crayons
  • 1 glue stick
  • 1 scissors
  • 1 ruler
  • 1 Chromebook
  • 1 watercolor paint set
  • 1 nature journal (sketchbook)

This is just what the kids have in their own cubbies.

When all the back-to-school deals are happening, stock up! Andrea buys 12 boxes of crayons, 12 glue sticks, 50 pencils, 10 reams of computer paper since they like to print things from online, and single spiral notebooks for when the 5 subject one fills up.
